    Steve Hutson

    Founder

    Steve Hutson

     

    From working in his parent's fish 'n' chip shop at 12, through a career in the Digital and Creative sector and co-founding a recruitment company of his own, Steve has believed in the same principles - a great team, great quality and a great laugh so people feel they are part of a family.
     
    Steve began his career managing the IT needs of a team of designers in the early days of New Media. He went on to manage and grow Digital and New Media teams for Aquent before bringing his experience to Digital and Creative staffing specialists Salt, where he helped launched Salt's innovative staffing model.
     
    Steve became dissatisfied with the way staffing companies charge fees to their clients and often fail to look after the Talent who are vital to any successful business. He decided to create Superstars to simplify staffing and treat Talent as individuals, not as entries on a balance sheet.

    Sue Nunn

    Sue Nunn

     

    Sue has almost 20 years of experience is staffing and recruitment in the digital and creative sectors. Sue trained as a graphic designer and started her career in staffing by introducing hands-on assessment of candidates at Aquent. This kind of in-depth assessment is a key part of the way Superstars helps to nurture Talent and match people's skills with the needs of its clients.
     
    Sue is a great believer that staffing should be about communication and fun as well as hard work and that successful staffing should never simply be about the bottom line. Her goal throughout her career has been to provide the best service and support for client and candidate alike through helpful and honest communication.
     
    Away from the office, Sue is a keen tennis player and is learning the piano, for which she apologises to her neighbours. She has recently adopted a beautiful puppy called Oscar.

    Julie Frith

     

    A born and bred Mancunian, Jules has worked within the creative industries for over 20 years. Over half of that time was spent working in recruitment in Manchester and Yorkshire for companies specialising in print, digital, Flash development and design.
     
    Jules was the perfect choice to head up Superstars Manchester, bringing our unique take on staffing to businesses in the North-West and beyond.
